If you often find yourself rushing around in the mornings, smoothies are the perfect breakfast fix. Quick to make, delicious and you can throw in anything you want to create the perfect smoothie for you. This morning, I decided to make a smoothie inspired by Bakewell tarts (which I love but definitely are not a great option for breakfast!). This would also make a tasty and healthy snack for those with a sweet tooth.
1/2 large ripe banana
8 ripe cherries
1 generous tsp almond butter
200ml almond milk
– Throw it all in a blender and whizz up until smooth.
*A smoothie alone may not fill you up for a busy day, so try dipping in some brioche or a croissant.
